Carbon Accounting Start Up

We are cofounders of an early stage software startup called Collective Flow, an online tool that supports people in business to make the radical changes needed for a low emissions economy without burning out. Not in picture is our design co-founder Becca O’Shea.

John and I met while working at Xero over a decade ago. John started his career in software development before moving into product and technology leadership at Xero. I started on a very different track - accounting - and ended up following John’s footsteps into technology leadership at Xero and then Sharesies.

The journey of creating Collective Flow has been a wild one that has led both John and I back to where we started (with some growth).

John is back to software development building the app, while I’m back on the tools doing (carbon) accounting to better understand the challenges businesses face transitioning to sustainability.
